Zoee
Golden Retriever from Kiwi & Drex Litter
Hi Mommy Kiwi and Daddy Drex,

Just want to let you know that I'm doing well at my new home. I'm a very spoiled little
girl and loving every minute of it.  I'm still the "Princess" too.  My mommy and daddy
keep telling me they should have name me Trouble because I get into a lot of it, but I
still get lots of hugs and kisses.  I'm so curious and I'm constantly taking things I'm
not suppose to and shaking them up.  They laugh at me all the time and tell me to
play with my toys instead, what fun is that!.  I've learned how to get up on the couch
by myself now.  I just love snuggling with mommy and daddy on the couch while I
watch TV.  I like being outside and chasing the birds that come into my yard.  I've met
3 doggies in the neighborhood.  We sure have fun playing together.  I let them know
whose boss though.  My potty training is going OK, not perfect yet.  I've had plenty of
accidents but mommy and daddy say that some of them are there fault.  Once in a
while I'll sit by the back door and when they see me sitting there they take me outside
to go potty.  When I potty mommy gives me a treat, yummy!  I'm really growing fast. I
week after they brought me home I went to the vet and weight 10 lbs. Yesterday I
went to the vet for a shot and now I weight 15.5 lbs. The vet says that's where I
should be.

Zoee is so precious and loveable. She loves being cuddled a lot. She chews quite a
bit on our hands, toes, legs, rugs, you name it she chews on it. The vet told us that
she hasn't even started her teething yet.  I thought she was almost done with her
chewing. We are so glad we have her. Thanks again for making it possible for us to
have this wonderful puppy
Zoee is now 4 months old and boy has she grown.  She
had her rabies shot on Wednesday and she did very well.
She weighs 28.5 pounds. The vet said that she is a
perfect dog, her shoulders are very strong and everything
else very good.  She still loves being outside. She could
sit outside all day long. She likes to get up on the picnic
table and sleep on it. She climbs up on the chairs and
then up on the table. She also likes to sit on top of the
dishwasher door when I'm taking the clean dishes out. I
turned away for a second and when I turned around there
she was sitting on the door looking inside. She is just
something else. She loves to roll over and lay on her back
with her legs up in the air while playing with her toys. We
laugh so hard at her because she does such silly things
and we never know what she's going to do next. She likes
to have her belly rubbed. The potty training is great. She
goes to the door every time she needs to go outside,
although we need to keep watching her because she just
stands by the door and doesn't make a sound. She has
this favorite toy, a stuffed monkey,  she takes with her
when she goes outside to potty. She won't drop it while
she potties she keeps it in her mouth. She is so very
smart. Her biting is getting better. We keep her very busy
with toys. She is getting more loveable every day.  Take
care and we'll keep sending pictures.
Zoee isn't my little baby anymore. She's up to 50 lbs. and
already 7 months old. She loves to sit on the couch with
us. There isn't much room for us when she gets up there.
She loves to cuddle with us and we love it. She's so
loveable. She always has to be where we are. She loves
to go for rides in the car.  She graduated from beginner
doggie school at the end of September. We got a
graduation hat so we put it on to take a picture. She didn't
like it so daddy had to hold it on so that mom could take
the picture. She loves to play in the leaves, I wonder what
she'll do when it snows. Can't wait to find out. Her new
trick now is to walk the kitchen counter from one end to
the other.  She usually does this when I'm in the kitchen
preparing supper. She's so darn nosy. She sure is a
retriever.  We throw her toys high in the air and she jumps
up and catches them and then brings them back to us for
more. Her favorite toy is her monkey.  She takes it
everywhere, to bed, outside when she has to go potty, in
the car. She's never without it. At Christmas time I always
have quite a few snowmen sitting around and I was
thinking I'd better put a few out early to see what she
would do.  She looked at them, jumped back, then jumped
forward, tried to play with one and when I said "leave it"
(that we learned in doggie school) she left them alone and
hasn't touched them again.  I 'm anxious to see what she
does with the Christmas tree.  That could be a disaster.
We'll be sure to send Christmas pictures.

                                                                               Happy
Thanksgiving!!!!
