| Hi Missy, Wow, is this summer just flying by, can't believe it is August already. Just had to send you a few new photos of Obi. His tummy problems are hopefully soon to be history, he is doing very well on the antibiotic the vet has prescribed and with all your help on ideas to keep him well, I think we are hopefully on the road to recovery. Obi loves to eat, we can't quite get use to how fast he eats all his food. Several times we have asked the vet if we are giving him enough to eat, much to our surprise it's almost too much. He continues to grow, is at that long and lanky stage as you can tell from the photos, he seems so tall to us. He loves to be outside in the backyard and does rather well at staying in his yard, but we keep a short leash on him just incase to catch him if he runs after the birds. He loves to fetch his frisbee, a gel type just for dogs one that we found at Petco, and if his frisbee is not available he loves to fetch his ball. He also loves to sit and watch the geese fly over. I am sure too that Obi, like his brothers and sisters, loves water although we have yet to take him to a beach or lake. Everytime I water my flowers or take out the sprinkler he is in it! Now hopefully with the tummy issues in the past we plan to get to walking him more and see how well he does with that, puppy school is in the near future as well. We just wanted to say "hi" and send you some more photos. We hope that your new puppy Ty is doing well too, he looks on the photo like a rather "stocky" framed golden. We are sorry too to hear that Drex has been "retired", he has fathered quite a few beautiful dogs! Thank you again for all your help, we will keep in touch and send more photos as we have them. Obi of course sends many kisses too! Ellen Levande |
