| Jewels has both American and English Creme lines of Golden Retrievers inthe lines of her Pedigree! Her father is Bear, (who is the son of our Kiwi and Drex). We also utilize him as a stud too! Jewels gets the English Creme lineage from her mother, Isabella (who is also the sister of our Sasha). Jewels has a very loving and affectionate personality, yet at the same time she can be quite independent. She never really understood that she was quite smaller than the bigger dogs as a puppy, that or it just didn't bother her. She just jumps right in and does what she wants to do! She's never been a follower and is more destined to be a leader. While she will adore any and all attention she can get, if you are too busy for her at the moment, it's quite alright with her. She doesn't insist that you drop what your doing to pay attention to her. She's quite a social butterfly and isn't intimidated easily. She thinks every dogs she sees wants to play with her, which isn't always the case while we are out on walks. She doesn't quite understand that; however, its better that way than opposite and overly shy or timid. She is a member of our friends family, while we retain her breeding rights. This way she enjoys a wonderful family. |
