"Those Golden's" Golden Doodles...
Because Golden Doodles can have such a different look, we thought we would keep track of the puppies from the
first
American Golden Doodle litter and the first SUGAR Doodle (English Creme Golden Doodle)litter.
So now you can see what fine doodles they turn into!
Every doodle can have his/her own look so it is nice to watch this bunch as they grow! Also, some of the families have
given us a wonderful updates along the way. Nothing speaks more than their experiences!

We did keep one American Golden Doodle..... "Karma"
& our friends have one from our Recent Sugar Doodle Litter..."Ariyanna"

Extra little tid bits...
Furry little "tusks"-
About week 9 we noticed Karma was growing a little longer fur on two spots
along her lower jaw by her mouth about half way along her gum line... where
the fur kind of has a crease there. (That is a poodle trait by the way.) Well
because we don't shave her face the way we do our Poodle, those two spots
really started growing. Pretty soon it looked like she had two long lower
mustaches... so we trimmed her "tusks" off.  Looks much better, but its definitely
not a retriever trait and it looked so silly!
"Can we get some directions...furry ones?"-
As Karma's fur grows in, it starts out going the
"right way" and towards the ends its all flipped
to go the opposite direction! All of it lays
towards the same way.... flipped up towards her
head! She's very fuzzy looking... and oh so
adorable... but its rather funny seeing her fur
grow! Her ears are really getting some little curls
on the ends of them too.
Quick Learners-
Wow... need I say more. I can't believe how fast Karma is learning ideas,
habits, and tricks. It is absolutely unbelievable! It is true Poodles are very
good at learning complex tricks and can remember them very quickly.
And Retrievers can pick up on the habits and rituals of their families easily
and with a little repetition can learn tricks easily as well.... But a doodle
can do both... with the snap of a finger at less than 3 months old! And
potty training... wow we've never had it so easy! As long as we watch for
her signals we have no problems. And now she has even let out a bark
once or twice when we weren't paying attention!
